Overview

Established in 2000 by Spirit of Laureus Award winner Ron Gaunt - Sportzpics is a photographic agency committed to providing the ultimate solution for your sports images and media communications.
Sportzpics is 100% South African owned and is recognised as being a Level Four BBBEE Contributor with a procurement recognition level of 100%
We recognise that good promotional photography used in different forms of media such as newspapers, magazines, club newsletters, corporate brochures and more, impregnates lasting images in the minds of the fans and consumers.  These impressions via word of mouth go a long way to increase the status of your sport, club or brand.
 
Offering creative photography and memorable images Sportzpics can capture the essence of your event that will keep your brand alive. Creatively exploring new angles and compositions makes a new and exciting picture from the familiar bringing a fresh contemporary feel to Sportzpics photography.


Working Practices

 
Sportzpics gives you great deal more than just a photographic service. By utilising a comprehensive network of professional freelance photographers throughout South Africa we can provide the complete solution to your photographic needs.  Each of the photographers on our database is fully vetted by us and their work is continually monitored for excellence.
 
We feel it is vital to have a good working relationship with the photographer covering your event.  To this end we will, where possible, always use the same photographer for each event.  Gone are the days of meeting your photographer on the day and hoping that they have an understanding of what is required.
The services for each event we cover are tailored to the needs of our clients.  Sportzpics will work to your brief whether it be a sports event, awards ceremony or social gathering to promote your brand - knowing that a variation of pictures are required for use by different media sources.
Through our connections with local media and photographic agencies overseas we have access to the media across the world.  Our national and international syndication process includes an e-mail to all media during the week prior to each commissioned event.  This e-mail informs the media of our coverage for the week and makes them aware that images will be distributed to them Free of Charge from a commissioned event.
In addition to the supply of fully captioned, well branded, images on CD/DVD Sportzpics will house all original images indefinitely. Our clients, sponsors and the media will be able to draw on a secure and comprehensive database of high resolution branded imagery at anytime in the future.

Fee Structure



Photographers Half Day Rate                                                 R2000
Photographers Full Day Rate                                                  R3500
Archive Fee                                                       Free with commissioned events
Travel, accommodation and set up costs are passed on to the client at cost.
Fees can be negotiated for events over a number of days


Cancellation Fees.

Any commission that is cancelled at short notice (3 days or less notice) will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
A commission that is cancelled on the day of the shoot will incur a 100% cancellation fee
